Youth Fellowship
Our vibrant youth (Grades 6-12) gather to enjoy United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) together each Sunday night. Join them or attend special youth events.
Children’s Ministries
From Sunday School to summer camp, and worship service Children’s Time, there are events for children year-round. We also have a nursery.
Study Group
Join Pastor Stacy for Bible Study weekly for open discussions and scripture lessons. Make a commitment to study the bible with this adult study class.
Music Ministries
Praise God with song and beautiful music when you join one of our many choirs. We have choirs (choral and handbells) for every age and interest.
United Women in Faith (UWF)
Come make a difference! Our active UWF fellowship groups meet monthly. Each group of women welcomes you with open arms! Choose one to match your availability.
United Methodist Men (UMM)
The UMM strives to center Christ in your life with fellowship and service. The men meet weekly for a friendly donut fellowship and gather periodically for themed programs.
Walking Group
Take a walk in Simi Valley with us each Tuesday and Thursday morning. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Outreach Dinner for the Community
We recognize that some people are lacking meals and shelter. We’ve teamed with other organizations to provide this care. Join us in our mission to serve those in need.
Meal Ministry for Members
When our church members recovering from surgery, welcoming a new baby, or grieve, this caring group prepares meals to smooth the rough patches in life. Are you available or in need?
Public Action to Deliver Shelter
Public Action to Deliver Shelter (P.A.D.S.) is overseen by the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley. During the colder months, SVUMC hosts a cold-weather shelter on Saturdays.
I've been involved with Simi Valley UMC ministries for most of my life. I joined the tech crew at 12 and took part in children's and youth activities. Over the years, I’ve served with Trustees, Finance, Administrative Council, and other planning groups. I’ve also had the blessing of leading youth mission teams — from local Habitat builds to Appalachia and Tijuana. No one is expected to get involved in any one way — we want your engagement in Christ's church to fit your life, your family, and your faith. Volunteer Opportunities

In addition to supporting our church campus via office work and facilities support, we regularly provide volunteers to ministries like FoodShare, the P.A.D.S overnight housing service, and other ministries.

Outreach Dinner
An opportunity each week to help prepare and serve dinner on Saturday evening for folks in Simi Valley who need a good meal. No experience required, but interest and willingness to learn safe food handling is important!
