Diane Thomson has been sharing her life and faith with young people since the early 70s. A graduate of Cal State University, Northridge with a degree in Elementary Education, Diane taught in Simi Schools for 16 years before retiring to tend to her growing family. Since joining Simi Valley United Methodist Church in 1988, Diane has loved working in youth ministry both as a volunteer and on staff. She and her husband Stu have been married for 40 years and have three wonderful sons--Charlie, Josh, and Richard. When asked to describe the Simi Valley United Methodist Youth Fellowship, Diane says, “We strive to be Christ-centered and people-focused, a place where youth feel welcome and accepted as they grow in God’s grace and serve others by sharing Christ’s love.”
